JBTA Introduction
JBTA (Japan Beach Tennis Association) was established on December 15, 2008 for the purpose to spread beach tennis in Japan, and of course world wide.
There are two ways beach tennis is played. One is played with a paddle which is popular in Europe, and a normal tennis racket is used in the United States.
The ITF (International Tennis Federation) and JTA (Japan Tennis Association) are both under consideration whether beach tennis should be followed by paddles or tennis rackets. By JTA's advice, we JBTA decided to spread both paddles and rackets.
Our another big activity is "beach cleaning". We strongly desire to keep the beach clean and beautiful for the future generations. And also thank this wonderful nature.

Lists of Enterprises
- Hold National Beach Tennis Competitions and other beach tennis events as well as support or authorize beach tennis events in Japan.
- Hold international beach tennis events/ have the right to select or delegate players, and permit foreign players to participate.
- Certify licenses as beach tennis instructors and umpires.
- Improvement of beach tennis skills.
- Examine and certify beach tennis kits and facilities.
- Management and administration of beach tennis facilities.
- Spread and promote beach tennis.
- Investigate and research beach tennis.
- Hold beach tennis sessions.
- Constitute beach tennis regulations.
- Collect materials, save informations, publish on papers and magazines (journals).
- Join as the Japanese representative of beach tennis to Japan Sports Association and Japanese
Olympic Committee.
- Join as the Japanese representative of beach tennis to the International Tennis Federation (ITF), and all beach tennis organization in the word such as in Europe, USA, and Asia.
- JBTA is necessary for the achievement of other corporation's goals.
